Camels and GRAD

Now lets get down to it. And the issue of the day - Libya. I don't know what part of it I like the most. The blatant disregard of international law, the yet another proof that no one cares about the UN, or the fact that yes, its about the oil again. It started well you know. At first it had something that looked like a genuine revolution like those in Egypt and Tunis. Oh and there was so much coverage in the first few months and everyone was cheering on. But then the rebels goofed, the idealists got killed off and all kind of bandits, fanatics and outright gangs came to represent the "rebellion". Are there Islamic fundamentalists among them? Certainly.  Will they rear their heads and do something nasty once they get in power? You bet. Gaddafi was like Saddam, not nice, oh mind you I do hope they give him the chinese torture kamasutra in hell(1001 ways of bending the human body you've never heard of) but he was in control. Nothing happened without his knowedge. Now...well, it doesn't take a PhD to see the anarchy that is coming. As if it wasn't already enough.

I'm not sure which part I dislike about the situation either, but it can't end well. Nice post.

I don't think in anarchy... i think in a new global order with... internet... as leader!

I don't think there's gonna be a problem with anarchy in Libya. I believe they will be able to form a democratic government. Though the islamist influence is... worrying.

@ Lichpin They won't...they will form a government of sorts but it will have none of the good sides of Gaddafi's rule - that is spreading at least some of the wealth and keeping everything secured, etc., and all of the bad sides...
